Cy Curnin is currently trekking up Mount Kilimanjaro with the Love Hope Strength Foundation, an organization that supports critical cancer care and awareness in East Africa, with rock and roll overtones. Cy is ascending alongside members of the Alarm, Squeeze, the Gin Blossoms and the Stray Cats, as well as experienced hikers and cancer survivors. They will attempt to perform an acoustic show at the highest point on land – Uhuru Peak – at 19,340 feet. You can learn more about the journey and the cause at www.lovehopestrength.org/kili/.
