Thanks for the great comment Jamei. Fitting it all in is definitely a challenge, and one that I address in my ecourse- I'd suggest you take a gander and use the IHEARTDM code to get a super deep discount on it! http://www.cbemusic.com/ecourse. If it doesn't work for you, there's a guarantee!! Best of luck. :)

You know what I love about this piece is that you are sharing a process of arriving at clarity and then giving the process a lot of depth and color by sharing your own experience with it which, I see, is part of your statement. Inspiring! (Yet another part of your statement.) Well done and thank you!

Very useful article, Cheryl! Thanks very much. A lot of things in life are mental (especially roadblocks), and it helps to find new ways of looking at things to help you move forward. This is an article all aspiring artists should read. Kudos!

Wow Cheryl! Your article offers the most concise depiction of how to get daily actions in line with life aspirations! This is gold! Thank you. I wonder how many people will be able to put this into practice? The hard part is creating the time and energy to do the real work. In my own life I have to juggle being a dad caring for two small children each day until I go work my 'day' job until late at night. This alone is a grueling schedule. However, I am also working right now toward my dream of being my own boss and producer by building a 'top' sounding recording space in my house. My point is that these things will take a significant amount of time to accomplish and so it sometimes feels like the dream is so far away it will never be reached. The motto 'slow and steady wins the race' applies. But so does ensuring that I take those tiny steps (your 'mini goals'?) each and every day toward the dream. As I don't have the luxury of being able to create more time (can't just lose the kids, or the 'day' job), for me, the real trick is in the mind...learning how to trust in the belief that the small steps I take each day toward the dream goal are in themselves worthy of my appreciation and satisfaction in life (not a small feat). But a worthwhile one.
