The talented designers in our Design Studio created twelve original works of art (one for each month) that feature the cities where Disc Makers offices are located. Each month we will post a new design, in six common desktop sizes, so you can use them as your desktop wallpaper.
In December, Disc Makers was recognized by the American Red Cross for ten years of support to the local community through the Camden County (NJ) chapter. Disc Makers has supported the American Red Cross through biannual blood drives in the summer and winter months and annual participation in our local chapter’s Children’s Holiday Project. Through the Children’s Holiday Project, Disc Makers employees have “adopted” families in need by providing winter clothing, toys, and groceries to prepare a hot holiday meal.Read more…

Many people have a limited budget this year to upgrade their home recording systems. Because of that, it’s helpful to prioritize what is the most important element you need or would benefit from upgrading. If you consider your entire home recording system as 100% of your sound, assuming that you already have a digital audio recording system, then as much as 50% of your sound comes from the quality of the microphone you use. According to a study sponsored by the Direct Marketing Association and DiscMail Direct (as reported by Direct Marketing News), 91% of respondents said they would rather open a mailer that contains a DVD or CD than one without. The study, released at the DMA 2010 Conference & Exhibition in San Francisco, also found that three-quarters (73%) of the 800+ respondents said they played the discs they received in the mail on their computer.Read more…
